Agency Performance Measures
OPB collects performance measures for state programs to provide accountability and transparency. Performance measures are a key component of Georgia's budget development process. Agencies submit three different types of measures for programs that deliver services:
- Workload: measuring how well programs operate
- Efficiency: measuring whether the agency serves the citizens
- Outcome: measuring whether programs achieve their intended outcomes
These measures are tracked over the span of four years. This allows each agency to assess their performance. OPB publishes agency performance measures in the Performance Measure Report.
